Earnings Dashboard

Your real-time view of revenue paid out through the VideoNest Monetization Program — payout history, per-video breakdown, and schedule.

Finding Your Earnings

The Earnings dashboard is located under Analytics → Earnings in the left navigation. It is only visible to accounts that have been approved for the VideoNest Monetization Program. If you haven't applied or haven't been approved yet, see Applying for the Program.

What the Dashboard Shows

The Earnings dashboard provides a complete picture of what you've been paid through the Monetization Program:

  • Total paid out — the cumulative amount paid to you since you joined the program
  • Payout history by month — a month-by-month table showing the amount earned and the date the payment was issued
  • Per-video earnings breakdown — a view of how much each individual video has contributed to your total earnings across all monetized distribution channels

All figures shown in the Earnings dashboard represent confirmed, reconciled amounts that have already been paid out. This is distinct from the estimated revenue shown in your Analytics dashboard, which reflects real-time impression data before advertiser reconciliation.

Payout Schedule

VideoNest issues payouts 15 days after the end of each calendar month. For example, earnings from January are paid out by February 15. Earnings from February are paid out by March 15, and so on.

The reconciliation process — where VideoNest confirms impression counts with advertisers, removes invalid traffic, and calculates your net share — takes place during the first two weeks after the month closes. Your payout is issued once reconciliation is complete.

Minimum Payout Threshold

VideoNest has a minimum payout threshold of $50. If your confirmed earnings for a given month are below $50, the balance is not paid out — it carries over to the following month and accumulates until the total reaches the threshold.

For example: if you earn $30 in January and $40 in February, the combined balance of $70 will trigger a payout in March (15 days after February ends). The payout history will show $0 for January and the full $70 for February.

Understanding Your Revenue Share

The base revenue share is 55% of the net ad revenue generated by your content. VideoNest retains 45% to cover ad operations, partner relationships, and platform infrastructure.

Revenue is calculated on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis and varies by distribution channel, content category, and advertiser demand. CTV platforms and premium news channels (such as MSN and Yahoo) typically generate higher CPMs than podcast or digital signage channels. Your monthly statement breaks down revenue by channel so you can see exactly where your earnings are coming from.

Enterprise accounts with custom arrangements may have different revenue share rates. If you have questions about your specific terms, contact your VideoNest account manager.

ℹ️
Earnings vs. subscription billing.

Earnings from the Monetization Program are completely separate from your VideoNest subscription billing. Your subscription cost is invoiced on your plan's billing cycle. Monetization payouts are issued 15 days after month end — these are two distinct financial flows and you'll see them treated separately in your account.
