Submitting to Podcast Directories

VideoNest supports all major podcast directories. Once your podcast RSS feed is ready, submit the feed URL to each directory to distribute your podcast everywhere your audience listens.

🔗
Prerequisites

Before submitting to any directory, complete Podcast Distribution setup in VideoNest to generate your podcast RSS feed URL. You'll need that URL for every directory submission below.

How directory submission works

Each podcast directory requires a one-time feed submission. You submit your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL; the directory ingests it, verifies it, and publishes your podcast. After that, new episodes you publish in VideoNest appear in each directory automatically — no re-submission required. You can submit to all directories in parallel.

Apple Podcasts

Apple Podcasts is the largest podcast directory globally. Submission is through Apple Podcasts Connect.

  1. Sign in at podcastsconnect.apple.com with your Apple ID
  2. Click the + button to add a new show
  3. Enter your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL
  4. Validate and submit — Apple reviews and approves new podcasts within 24–72 hours

Spotify

Spotify for Podcasters is the submission portal for Spotify's podcast directory.

  1. Sign in at podcasters.spotify.com
  2. Click Get Started and select RSS Feed as the import method
  3. Enter your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL and follow the prompts to claim your podcast
  4. Spotify typically processes new feeds within a few hours

iHeartRadio

iHeartRadio reaches a large US audience through its podcast app and radio station integration.

  1. Visit iheart.com/content/submit-your-podcast
  2. Complete the submission form with your feed URL, show details, and contact information
  3. iHeartRadio's podcast team reviews submissions and responds via email

Amazon Music

Amazon Music Podcasts is available through Podcasters by Amazon Music.

  1. Sign in at podcasters.amazon.com with your Amazon account
  2. Select Add a podcast via RSS
  3. Enter your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL
  4. Amazon validates the feed and publishes it to Amazon Music Podcasts

Pocket Casts

Pocket Casts is a popular podcast app with its own discovery directory.

  1. Visit pocketcasts.com/submit
  2. Enter your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL and your email address
  3. Pocket Casts indexes the feed and makes it searchable in the app

YouTube Music

YouTube Music supports podcast distribution via RSS, managed through YouTube Studio.

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio
  2. Go to Content → Podcasts → New Podcast
  3. Select Import with RSS feed and enter your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL
  4. YouTube imports your episodes and syncs new ones as you publish

Note: YouTube Music podcast distribution is separate from uploading video to YouTube. The RSS import creates an audio podcast listing in YouTube Music.

TuneIn

TuneIn is a streaming audio platform with a large international audience. After Stingray Digital's acquisition in 2025, TuneIn reopened its podcast submission process in April 2026.

  1. Visit tunein.com/broadcasters
  2. Create a broadcaster account and submit your podcast RSS feed URL
  3. TuneIn reviews and publishes new podcast submissions

Submit to all directories at once

There is no downside to submitting to all directories simultaneously. Your VideoNest RSS feed URL works for all of them. Apple Podcasts and Spotify are the highest priority — submit to those first, then work through the rest. The more directories you're in, the more discoverable your podcast becomes.

Your feed URL never changes

Your VideoNest podcast RSS feed URL is permanent. You only need to submit it once per directory. New episodes you publish in VideoNest are automatically picked up by all directories on their next fetch cycle — typically within a few hours.
