About Samsung TV+
Samsung TV+ is a free, ad-supported streaming service pre-installed on Samsung smart TVs and available on mobile and web. It is one of the largest FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) platforms globally. Content is delivered as MRSS-based channels, acquired through a partner program managed by Samsung's content acquisition team.
VideoNest feed compatibility
VideoNest generates a Samsung TV+-compatible MRSS feed that meets Samsung's technical requirements, including titles, descriptions, 16:9 thumbnails at 1280×720 minimum, content ratings, closed captions, and video URLs. Your feed updates automatically whenever you publish new content.
Requirements to qualify
- Content volume: 50+ pieces of content to launch a channel
- Content quality: 720p or higher, consistent thumbnails, complete metadata
- Content ratings: Accurate ratings required on all videos
- Ownership: Full distribution rights to all channel content
- Closed captions: Strongly recommended; required for some content categories
- Regular updates: Samsung favors channels with active, frequently updated libraries
How to apply
- Ensure your library meets the requirements above
- Create a CTV feed in VideoNest for your Samsung TV+ content (Media → Feeds → Create Feed → Video)
- Contact the VideoNest team with your feed URL and a description of your channel
Samsung TV+ prioritizes channels from recognized media brands, news publishers, sports networks, and established digital-first creators with consistent publishing cadences. If you're early in building your library, focus on Amazon Fire TV or Roku first, then revisit Samsung TV+ once you have library depth.
