About NewsBreak

NewsBreak is a local news and video platform with over 50 million monthly active users across the US. It distributes publisher video content alongside local news and trending articles. Content is ingested from partners via MRSS feeds.

Content requirements

  • Video quality: 720p minimum
  • Content type: News, information, local interest, and general interest video
  • Thumbnails: 16:9, 1280×720 minimum
  • Ownership: Full distribution rights required
  • Content ratings: Required on all videos

Step 1: Create a NewsBreak feed in VideoNest

Go to Media → Feeds → Create Feed → Video → NewsBreak. Choose Automated (full library) or Custom (manually select videos) mode.

Step 2: Submit to NewsBreak

NewsBreak's content syndication program requires an existing partnership. If you have one, copy your feed URL from Media → Feeds and provide it to your NewsBreak contact. If you don't yet have a partnership, contact the VideoNest team for guidance.
