Applying for the Monetization Program
How to apply for VideoNest's Monetization Program and what to expect after submission.
Eligibility requirements
Before applying, your account must meet two minimum thresholds:
- At least 10 videos in your Media Library
- At least 1,000 total views across your library
These thresholds confirm that your channel has meaningful content and a real audience. Meeting them makes you eligible to apply — but approval is not automatic. Every application is reviewed individually by a VideoNest team member.
Where to apply
Go to Settings → Monetization in your VideoNest dashboard at app.videonest.co. The Monetization section contains the application form. Fill it out and submit when you believe your channel meets the eligibility criteria.
What the VideoNest team reviews
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The review is not automated — a VideoNest team member looks at your channel before making a decision. The review considers:
- Content quality — is the content appropriate for advertiser-supported distribution?
- Library depth — do you have enough content to sustain an ongoing audience?
- Publishing consistency — are you adding content regularly, or was your library a one-time upload?
- Metadata completeness — are your videos properly titled, described, tagged, and categorized?
- Active distribution — do you have at least one live distribution feed set up through VideoNest?
Having complete metadata and an active distribution feed in place before you apply significantly strengthens your application.
After you apply
You'll receive a confirmation that your application was received. Expect to hear back within a few business days. If approved, the Earnings Dashboard will become visible under Analytics, and VideoNest will begin placing ads on your distributed content. If not approved, VideoNest will communicate the specific reasons and what steps you can take to reapply.
If you're not approved
A declined application is not permanent. VideoNest will tell you what criteria need to be addressed — whether that's adding more videos, improving metadata, setting up a distribution feed, or waiting until your view count grows. Once you've addressed the feedback, you can reapply from the same Settings → Monetization page.
Approval is not permanent. VideoNest reserves the right to remove publishers who violate content policies, whose content quality drops below program standards, or who are no longer actively publishing. Staying in good standing is required to continue receiving monthly payouts.
By enrolling in the VideoNest Monetization Program, you agree to the Monetization Program Terms. This is a separate agreement from the platform Terms of Service and covers revenue share, content requirements, and payout conditions specific to the program.
