Bulk Upload

Upload multiple videos at once or sync your entire library from cloud storage.

When to use bulk upload

If you have an existing video library, bulk upload lets you get everything into VideoNest at once rather than uploading files one at a time. It's the fastest way to migrate from another platform or populate a new channel.

Set up during onboarding

The easiest time to configure your sync source is during channel setup. When creating your channel, you'll be prompted to choose your upload method: FTP, Google Drive, another cloud provider, or direct upload from your computer.

If you connected a sync source during onboarding, VideoNest will begin importing your library automatically after setup completes.

Add a sync source later

You can connect or change your sync source at any time after onboarding. Go to your Media Library and use the sync or import option to add a new source.

For step-by-step instructions for each provider, see Importing from Cloud Storage.

Direct bulk upload

You can also select and upload multiple files at once directly from your computer. Go to Media > Media Library, click Upload, and select multiple files from the file picker or drag them onto the upload area together.

After sync

VideoNest imports and transcodes each video after it's received. Every file will show a Processing status in your Media Library until transcoding is complete, then change to Ready. Large libraries may take some time to finish processing.

💡
Add metadata before distributing. After a bulk import, use the metadata editing tools to add descriptions, tags, and categories to your videos. Good metadata dramatically improves reach on partner platforms and is required by some partners before they'll accept your feed.
