Digital Signage

Stream your VideoNest library to BrightSign, ScreenCloud, OptiSigns, and other digital signage platforms.

How it works

Digital signage platforms pull video content via MRSS or custom feeds. VideoNest generates a compatible feed for signage destinations. Once your feed URL is set up, your signage platform fetches and plays your content automatically.

Creating a signage feed

Go to FeedsAdd New Feed → select the signage destination type, or use a custom MRSS feed if your platform is not listed. Configure the following settings:

  • Resolution — match the display requirements of your signage hardware
  • Min / Max duration — useful for fitting content to your display loop length
  • Orientation — portrait for vertical displays, landscape for horizontal
  • Publishing frequency — controls how often the feed refreshes and cycles content

Supported platforms

VideoNest feeds are compatible with BrightSign, ScreenCloud, OptiSigns, and other signage platforms that accept MRSS or URL-based video feeds. See Integrations for the full list of supported platforms.

Orientation matters

Digital signage often uses portrait displays (vertical video). Set the orientation filter on your feed to match your hardware. You can also apply a playlist filter to curate exactly which videos appear — useful if you're running separate displays in different locations with different content needs.

Your feed URL

After saving, the feed URL is shown on the feed detail page. Enter this URL into your signage platform's content source settings to begin pulling your VideoNest content.

💡
Keep your displays updated automatically

Use publishing frequency and evergreen looping to keep your signage display cycling through content without manual updates. Add new videos to your playlist and they'll appear on the next feed refresh.
