VideoNest ("we," "us," "our") operates a video management and distribution platform at videonest.co and associated services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our platform, visit our website, or interact with our services.
By using VideoNest, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (hashed), and billing information (processed through our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
Usage Data. We collect data about how you use our platform: pages visited, features used, videos uploaded, distributions configured, and time spent. This is used to improve the product and provide analytics.
Video Content and Metadata. Videos, thumbnails, descriptions, and metadata you upload to VideoNest are stored on our infrastructure. You retain ownership of your content.
Distribution Analytics. When your content is distributed to partner platforms, we receive performance data (views, engagement, revenue) from those partners on your behalf.
Communications. If you contact our support or sales team, we retain records of those communications.
Viewer Data. Our video player collects anonymized viewer analytics (view count, completion rate, geography). We do not collect personally identifiable information about viewers without explicit consent.
VideoNest powers branded video apps for connected TV platforms, including Roku, operated on behalf of content publishers. When you watch through one of these apps, VideoNest may receive:
We use this data to operate the apps, measure performance, and improve reliability. Viewers do not create VideoNest accounts through these apps. The other sections of this policy, including Information Sharing, Data Retention, Your Rights, and Contact Us, apply equally to data collected through connected TV apps.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
VideoNest uses the YouTube Data API (provided by Google LLC) to enable channel owners to connect their YouTube presence, access channel metadata, and manage video distribution directly through the VideoNest platform. This section describes what data is accessed, how it is used, and your rights with respect to that data.
Permissions We Request. When you connect your YouTube or Google account to VideoNest, we request only the scopes necessary to provide the service:

How This Data Is Used. Data accessed through the YouTube Data API is used solely to provide VideoNest's video management, publishing, and analytics features to you. Specifically:
We do not use YouTube API data for advertising targeting, we do not sell it to third parties, and we do not use it to train AI or machine learning models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Retention & Deletion. YouTube API data is retained only as long as your Google integration is active and as necessary to provide the service. When you disconnect your YouTube or Google account from VideoNest, we delete all data obtained via those API permissions within 30 days. To request immediate deletion of your YouTube-related data, visit our Data Deletion page or email support@videonest.co.
Revoking Access. You can revoke VideoNest's access to your YouTube and Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing VideoNest. Revoking access stops all future API requests and triggers deletion of your stored tokens and associated data within 30 days.
Google's Own Policies. Your use of the YouTube integration is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. VideoNest is an independent application and is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Google LLC or YouTube.
